About Me

The Full Story

I became a coach almost by accident.

During the height of COVID-19, I was a burnt-out law school graduate studying for the bar.  On a complete whim, I signed up for a life coaching certification. At the time, I thought - when would I have time to take a course like this again? It didn't really make sense, but it was a really good way to avoid studying for the bar.

Honestly, I've never been happier about a seemingly impulsive decision. As cliche as it might sound, I knew coaching was what I was meant to be doing. Since then, I've completed 500+ hours coaching clients, undergone hundreds of hours of additional training, and sought out supervision from master coaches and therapists to provide the best and most impactful coaching possible.

In addition to coach training, I've completed trauma-informed training with  Internal Family Systems, and my work is grounded in the framework of the NARM Institute, a cutting-edge approach to understanding developmental and complex trauma.  Both models have been transformative to my coaching and have allowed me to work with clients who couldn't make progress with traditional coaching methods.

Outside of my coaching practice, I live with my partner, two foster-fail cats, and sometimes a foster puppy or two. I spend my free time trying as many new things as possible, enjoying the outdoors, and traveling. I remain devoutly passionate and committed to the causes that inspired me to go to law school-- criminal legal system reform, alternatives to incarceration, and restorative justice.
